Our mission is to uphold one another in unity with a goal to help the needy in our communities here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and in Annang land of Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria. To this end, Nto Annang, which started out with less than ten families has grown and sacrificed resources in time and money to come to the aid of the less fortunate in America, Nigeria, and beyond. Our recent projects include donating funds through the Red Cross for Haiti flood victims and in December, 2017, Nto Annang Foundation donated to Harvey flood victims also through the Red Cross. We renovated maternity building and donated medical equipment and supplies to Mercy hospital in Abak, Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. We donated medical supplies to St. Mary hospital, Urua Akpan, Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. In April 2018, Nto Annang Foundation organized a Fun Run/Walk to benefit ST. JUDE Children Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. In September 2019, Nto Annang Foundation organized a fundraising banquet and donated hospital beds, privacy screens and infant scales to maternity wards of Mercy and St. Mary hospitals in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. Though, our main focus is prenatal care needs, the magnitude of recent natural disasters caused us to also donate to help those in need. Nto Annang Foundation DFW Chapter is an all volunteer organization with no paid employee. Your generosity is our strength and is much appreciated.
